Software AG Cloud is an open and independent cloud platform and your one-stop shop for all Software AG Cloud service offerings. We the Cloud Service Operations department operate and deploy these offerings in a secure and reliable manner to contribute to our purpose “We connect people and technology for a smarter tomorrow”. We are a diverse and worldwide distributed team of engineers that are working agile with RnD and the Global Support organizations to continuously improve our services. 


We, the Cloud Operations Management team, are looking for you: 

As the team lead you drive the success of an agile team of highly specialized Cloud Operations Engineers and as an interface within the company as well as to customers, you are responsible for:

  • Team Management (capacity, knowledge, priorities)
  • Drive and foster collaboration with interfacing teams like RnD, PM and Support
  • Ensure ticket quality and raise awareness of the processes
  • Participate in Security Working Group as a service representative
  • Report team KPIs to internal/external stakeholders
  • Manage operational risks for your products
  • Manage security incidents & product assets
  • Manage escalations 


Academic Degree 

  • Study in computer science or similar 



  • 5yrs. as team lead or product owner 


Special Knowledge

  • Agile methods like Kanban and Scrum is a must 
  • Project management is desirable 
  • Risk management is desirable  


IT Skills

  • Running and managing PaaS/SaaS teams is beneficial
  • Experience with Office suite, Confluence and Jira or comparable tools 
  • Interest and high level overview  in Integration and API would be beneficial 
  • Knowledge about Cloud computing is a must  



  • Strong written and verbal English
