The Global Alliances and Channels (A&C) business is a major focus area for Software AG’s “Helix” strategy refresh program.  In A&C we will:

As the Partner Account Director for Microsoft you will be a key direct report of the Commercial Cloud Leader.  You will be responsible for all aspects of our commercial relationship, including but not limited to; revenue, pipeline, go-to-market planning and execution, strategy, C suite relationships.


The commercial cloud providers by their very nature are global organizations, so your ability and willingness to travel, your acceptance and understanding of many different cultures and your strengths in managing within our matrixed and global organization will be critical.

Role requirements


To ensure a fast start, Software AG requires the candidate to have international work experience for or with Microsoft and/or other relevant strategic partnerships.




Your compensation mix is a choice of either 50:50 or 70:30. The variable plan will be highly attractive with some of the most rewarding payouts in the industry. It will be based on a set of business objective measures that will include:


  • Co Sell Revenue goal with Microsoft (80%)
  • Partner Sourced pipe and bookings (20%)
