Senior Presales Consultant


This position is available in Bracknell.




The Senior Presales Consultant role within the sales process is to fully understand a prospect’s business problem and construct a solution around that problem leveraging Software AG Technologies. The Senior Presales Consultant exhibits a high level of sales and business maturity, operates independently in pre-sales activities and has the proven ability to quickly understand business problems and find the appropriate Software AG technology solutions. Working closely with the Account Executive the presales consultant owns the ‘technical win’ and demonstrates and articulates the solutions and their business value to both business and technical audiences.




  • An enthusiastic professional with experience engaging with both Technical and business leaders on various solutions and business problems. Able to listen and analyze a prospect’s requirements and present the compelling value proposition of a solution.
  • Demonstrated ability to present technology solutions to all levels with a focus on solutions selling, whilst demonstrating expertise to the technical customer.
  • Lead customer and internal Technical and Business meetings to guide attendees to a common goal.
  • Demonstrate individual credibility with clients, whilst maintaining a team attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deep understanding of the Business Process space including Enterprise and Business Architecture.
  • Strong experience of solutioneering, solutions architecture, demonstration builds and PoC/PoV delivery.
  • 5+ years’ practical presales experience preferably in Process & Architecture technologies or related. Experience with ARIS, Alfabet or similar technologies such as Mega, Sparks, PlanVIew/Troux, Casewise, Signavio, Open Text ProVision, Pegasystems etc. would be a significant advantage.
  • BSc Degree preferred
