Sales Development Representative

Buenos Aires


Member of a dynamic Inside Sales team. Primary purpose is to generate incremental pipeline and License revenue to the Spanish speaking Latin America (Mexico and The Caribbean, South America except Brazil). Will be measured on both accepted pipeline target and revenue target. SDRs work with Account Executives to manage non-complex opportunities (below country deal size threshold) with specific solutions in key and Enterprise installed base accounts or covered non-named accounts, leveraging partners to identify incremental opportunities and generate revenue.


Essential Job Functions  

•    Achieve the quarterly and yearly revenue targets by using the approved SAG business planning
     Account management and opportunity management and monitoring processes tool.
•    Focus on uncovering new opportunities, progressing existing opportunities, and generating
•    Work with a designated list of accounts to prospect-lead generation, develop, and produce
     qualified opportunities resulting in high quality & high volume of sales.
•    Effective adoption of marketing and social media campaigns to drive pipeline
     development/management and awareness in designated territory.
•    Profile target companies to uncover business stake holders as a component of cold calling,
     pipeline generation and qualification activities using available research tools.
•    Be the business driver and penetrate new accounts to facilitate discussions with key business
     stakeholders within defined accounts.
•    Apply go to market initiatives and other demand generation initiatives to their target market to
     achieve business goals.
•    Maintain a good understanding of Software AG's solutions, marketplace, and competition.
•    Build working relationships with field sales, sales engineers, partners, market development, and
     consulting in respective territory to develop joint account plans/strategies.
•    Manage accounts by building and fostering client relationships through personalized contact,
     understanding of client's needs, and ability to communicate solution values of products and
•    Accurately forecast (LEAD GENERATION CLASSIFICATION) opportunities based upon realistic assessments.
•    Demonstrate excellent professional capabilities such as, cold calling, lead discover skills.
•    Meet/exceed assigned revenue goals.


Skills and Requirements 
•    Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influence, leadership, analytical, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.
•    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•    Have the desire and ability to learn.
•    Experience in selling IT solutions with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed a sales quota. 
•    Business Acumen -Ability to interpret complex information, talk with customers/clients, and listens well.
•    Ability to build relationships and interact with customers and prospects via phone, web and email.
•    Must be able to clearly present Software AG's solution offerings to a variety of business and IT
•    Proficient using the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
•    Experience in using is a plus.
•    Proven problem solver.
