As a leading provider of an (industrial) IoT platform, Software AG Cumulocity IoT offers its customers key capabilities to create and grow their digital portfolio in a fast and easy way. To support this IoT journey from end-to-end even outside the core IoT platform, Software AG has established an ecosystem for both device partners and solution partners. Device partners provide certified hardware in the area of gateways, routers, edge appliances that are used to connect to the platform. Solution partners build vertical solutions on the platform to create value for their specific use case. 


In this role you will lead both types of partnership with a focus on technical enablement and strategy. You will closely work with other stakeholders including the Go-to-market team in order to holistically support ecosystem partners. 





  • Build out the device partner ecosystem
    • Develop and execute Software AG’s strategy on the device partner ecosystem
      • Identify and prioritize partners in the market in alignment with Software AG’s GTM strategy
      • Build up and maintain relationships with key (technical) contact persons 
      • Refine the device partner onboarding process 
      • Support partners at initial onboarding and maintaining a certified status 
      • Enable device partners to certify against Cumulocity IoT in an automated way 
      • Develop process and guide development of a self-service certification tool set 
  • Build out the solution partner strategy 
    • Identify and prioritize ecosystem partners 
    • Win strategic partners to join Software AG’s ecosystem 
    • Grow partnerships by joint projects 





  • Computer science / industrial engineering / electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Communication skills to build relationships with solution (business speak) and hardware (technology speak) ecosystem partners 
  • 2+ years of experience in enterprise software industry
  • Experience with direct customer engagements (e.g. pre-sales experience, technical sales support, consultancy, and/or customer support desirable)
  • IoT experience is preferable
