Student employee (f/m) Adabas and Natural Education Package

University Relations initiates and maintains the cooperation between Software AG and universities around the world. Included in the University Relations Program are multifaceted services for students and faculty members. To further better our academic and research-oriented services, we’re looking for a student employee to work in Darmstadt.

 

 

YOUR TASKS

 

  • Develop all assets needed for an A&N education package (e.g. tutorials, videos) leveraging existing or creating new material (e.g. training courses, virtual machines, container [Docker])
  • Development of code samples using the Eclipse-based NaturalONE development environment (e.g. Web Services, Web/AJAX and responsive Web design, database programming)
  • Coordinate with international Software AG teams and universities to best meet our customer’s objectives
  • Your responsibilities include the further development of the University Relations Program and quality management

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Ideally, you’re pursuing a degree in Media, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or a similar field
  • You have good experience in designing and developing Web applications using Java/Script and database programming
  • Project experience and knowledge in Java or Script (e.g. PHP) application and database programming (e.g. MySQL, noSQL)
  • Expertise in working with Eclipse and the related life-cycle management tools (e.g. Ant Script, Subversion, GitHub, Jira) and in developing videos (e.g. YouTube)
  • Comfortable in using Microsoft Office products
  • German and English, Other languages are a plus (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese)
  • Strong communication and writing skills to explain IT related topics and creativity in developing social media ready assets (e.g. YouTube videos, Blogs)
  • Willingness to work in an international environment and to learn new IT technologies and ability to work in a team
