The Mainframe Adabas family of products has a diverse portfolio. Support for cluster and high availability technology, IBM’s SYPLEX Technology and zIIP are key extensions to the DBMS. Additional add-on products include Replication, Monitoring, Network, various other products offering performance optimizations.

 

For this position we are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior software developer* who can actively support existing products and be a part of building new solutions to needed to move customers into their future.

With your experience in the design, software development methodology, and knowledge of one operating system or systems technology, you can become a part of a technically strong and dynamic team. Whether it is a part of building new products or, enhancing and maintaining existing products, You can make contribution by being a part of the Team.

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • 10+ years of knowledge and experience with IBM z/OS technology (architecture, software and utilities)
  • 10+ years’ experience in the development of software using with S/390 Assembler
  • Good judgement and strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Very good Interpersonal/communication skills and experience coordinating information and activities among groups with differing agendas, across different regional areas
  • Useful to have: knowledge of relational database principles and/or experience in database design
  • Useful to have: experience with such technologies as SYSPLEX, zIIP, zEDC,

 

SOFT SKILLS

 

  • Excellent time-management skills, and the ability to manage complexities and competing priorities
  • Can work effectively with a team or independently and Ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated, self-developing and learning mindset
