Voluntary internship for graduates* - Corporate Communications and Sustainability

Location: Darmstadt, with regular home office opportunity

The internship is positioned within Software AG’s Corporate Communications & Public Affairs division, part of the CEO Board area responsible for the company’s Global Communications, reputation and the strategic development and management of sustainability strategy.


To join the strategic communications team, we are looking for a passionate University graduate* with a pronounced interest in sustainability issues. Join our team as of October 1, 2021.

The position is temporary for 12 months and full-time.





  • You will work on the sustainability strategy for Software AG
  • As a full team member, you work closely with the managers across the business and functions to bring together ESG and execute Social Responsibility (CSR) activities
  • Your tasks will include the execution of analyses, project management, creating presentations, research, creation of communication materials, text revision, etc.
  • You will support various projects in the area of Sustainability, ESG and CSR, including Corporate Citizenship activities
  • You support the CSR team in producing the non-financial report—track, monitor and execute KPIs
  • You support us in integrating sustainability into our business processes




  • Completed Master’s university degree with a focus on economics, sustainability management, business administration, management, communication sciences or a comparable subject.
  • You have already been able to gain initial work experience in CSR, environmental sustainability, project management
  • Advanced handling of data analytics and common Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel are required
  • Interest in sustainability and technology topics
  • You are passionate and have a pronounced interest in sustainability issues
  • You are analytical, structured, highly self-motivated, innovative and communicative
  • Excellent English language written and spoken skills and proficient in German language
  • Motivated by an international and fast-paced work environment with a strong team spirit
