Within our Global HR function, the People Analytics & Controlling (PA&CO) department makes a significant contribution to the success of the company through professional human resources work aligned with the corporate strategy. As a working student, you will be part of the team and support your colleagues in managing tasks, projects and processes. You can contribute to create stories from the numbers using “Big Data” and its transformation into “Smart Data”.


You can expect tasks with the following main topics, among others:

  • Support the monthly management reporting (headcount and cost analysis) and our business by conducting ad-hoc analyses
  • Supporting the implementation of an HR analytics tool and dashboard with business impact to all Software AG departments
  • Drive headcount and cost variance analyses across all HR units and entities
  • Working with our global HR system Workday and financial systems SAP and MIS
  • Supporting the development of working guidelines to improve HR processes
  • Taking over general organizational and administrative tasks





  • Studies, ideally with focus on information management, business informatics or business administration (Finance & Controlling or Human Resources)
  • Very good command of the common MS Office products, especially Excel & Power Point
  • High IT affinity, experience with HR or financial systems (Workday, SAP, MIS / Infor BI Office, Microsoft Power BI is an advantage
  • High comprehension / very good analysis ability
  • Conscientious, accurate and structured work style
  • High level of commitment and flexibility
  • Excellent communication skills in English (and German is considered a plus)
