Account Executive* DACH

Our company is growing fast, so we’re always on the lookout for ambitious and enthusiastic new talent. We are currently seeking an Account Executive* in our DACH team.




We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Executive* for our global sales team who drives expansion and renewal of TrendMiner contracts. This is a global role; however, the focus will be on those accounts with a strong presence in the D-A-CH region. Together with our sales, marketing, and customer success teams, you are responsible for expanding existing customer engagement to enterprise level, and often global, contracts. You are result-driven, highly self-motivated, ambitious, and experienced in process engineering and/or industrial software sales, preferably in chemicals and/or oil & gas. You have a practical, hands-on mentality. We are looking for a team player who jointly takes responsibility for our company’s growth ambition.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Planning, coordination and execution of account strategy, based on our successful land and expand strategy
  • Generating sales opportunities, and reporting status of accounts to the Global Sales Director on a regular basis
  • Build and manage senior management relationships with your account portfolio
  • Navigating your accounts methodically to explore and create untapped opportunities
  • Consistently follow-up on leads and maintain your pipeline
  • Maintain knowledge on different use cases per industry
  • Understand and support company sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service to all customers
  • Foster the development of long-term business relationships.





  • Minimal level of education bachelors’ or masters’ degree in a technical study (preferably process engineering, chemical engineering, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales
  • Profound knowledge of the process industry and its software landscape
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities
  • Ability to understand client needs, and negotiate costs and services
  • Strong interpersonal skills that establish trusted advisor relationships with clients
  • Proficient in English, both speaking and writing
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Goal-orientated (high level and task completion)
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to execute tasks personally and manage own time
  • Willingness to travel
  • Motivational and inspirational personality
