Partner Enablement Manager*



Locations: Germany, Switzerland, Austria


The Partner Enablement Manager* is part of Global Partner Enablement which provides flexible learning and enablement solutions to help partners maximizing their investment by supporting their specific requirements as well as part of Global Alliances & Channels responsible for creating and maintaining the go-to-market strategy for various segments within the partner business.

The Partner Enablement Manager* supports the Director Global Partner Enablement with Software AG’s go to market partner enablement strategy working together with the regional and local Alliances & Channels organizations, the Global Alliances & Channels organization as well as Global Education services and other internal departments. In addition, this person will work hand in hand with Product Marketing and Management teams to ensure having the right tools and training support to kick-start the partner’s sales and delivery activities.

The Partner Enablement Manager* is a well-rounded individual who has excellent communication, organizational, sales, marketing and interpersonal skills. The role requires a proven track record of executing partner education programs and broad execution capabilities.





  • Be the “Content and Enablement Expert*” within the partner team owning and driving content creation and adoption in the partner community globally
  • Work with the local and global Alliances & Channel organization as well as other Software AG departments to drive partner enablement programs for the targeted partners
  • Support the rollout of Partner Education programs for Partner sales, presales and services by conducting Partner Enablement Needs Assessments to understand enablement needs relative to their specific relationship and training goals
  • Develop and communicate training schedule based on partner go-to-market strategy
  • Develop an ongoing communication and update strategy with the partners
  • Ensure partners have education tools and materials to be effective in their roles
  • Create a sense of community with partners to encourage an open, interactive and supportive dialogue





  • Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing or another relevant field
  • Experience in Sales Excellence and / or Partner Enablement related roles
  • Work experience in an international environment preferred
  • Product and/or Sales Enablement experience highly valued
  • Previous Channel Sales Excellence experience and understanding of Software AG product portfolio is a plus
  • Must be motivated, self-starter who is used to be a high-powered individual contributor
  • Past successful experience in a matrix management company and/or role
  • Demonstrated success in partner program activation
  • Fluent English skills
  • Travel of up to 25% in average expected
  • Ability to effectively work with management, sales, presales, services and other internal departments to achieve targets
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment adjusting priorities to quarterly goals
