Working Student* Developer Marketing


Location: Leipzig (Saxony/Germany)

Our Developer Marketing team is looking for a working student to support initiatives and activities that will increase growth and improve engagement within existing Software AG user/developer community.





For a minimum of 16h/week, on a remote basis or in our Leipzig office:


  • Develop and execute marketing programs to support user community growth and engagement
  • Promote Software AG developer community internally and externally
  • Support user group leaders in setting up events on our community event platform
  • Work with marketing, product management, R&D and professional services to support promotion of technical content such as tutorials, blog posts, webinars, etc.
  • Support product and marketing launches
  • Analyse and evaluate promotion and programs to make recommendations and improvements
  • Gather user feedback to better understand needs and provide actionable feedback


This role provides opportunities to work on a wide variety of developer marketing projects and gives you the chance to learn about the latest trends and technologies in the areas of integration and IoT.





  • You are a student of a bachelor's or master's study program, and you are passionate about technology?

  • Student of a bachelor or master study program in areas such as Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering
  • Team player; ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with a cross-functional team
  • Strong communicator, Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Open-minded and willing to learn





  • First practical experiences with building or participating in communities (independent of interest, e.g. software, music, gaming, etc.) or open-source projects
  • Experience in developing messaging and/or writing marketing content
