Director, Quality Management


Position of Direction of Quality Management requires highly diligent candidates with excellent attention to detail for the role of Director Quality management. Quality Director is responsible for Quality process governance , provide transparency and evidence based decision making , enable and track continuous improvement and improve E2E customer experience.

Quality Directors occupy important positions and will need to be highly conscientious and responsible workers, as defective products could seriously impact customer experience and cause business impact.

This high visibility position reports to the General Manager, API, Integration and Microservices Business Unit and works closely with the GM on comprehensive quality initiatives and objectives in support of mission critical customer software quality needs.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Establishes the direction for the development of the organization’s quality improvement efforts.
  • Consults with leaders and teams on the attitudes and practices of quality.
  • Develop an environment for continual improvement of products and processes.
  • Acts as a champion for quality for the API, Integration and Microservices business unit
  • Promote Quality mindset to satisfy customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the development/operations team to identify systemic quality issues
  • Develop robust root cause corrective actions.
  • Lead in a collaborative manner, promote cross-functional teamwork
  • Harness actionable quality improvements.
  • Build relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders to gather quality issues ,
  • Define engineering & QA framework and processes
  • Influence Tool selection in support of GA processes.
  • Ensure consistent leverage of defined processes
  • Monitor Process & Tools compliance
  • Work closely with leaders to build governance from Requirements to Delivery and later.
  • Optimize test methodology and evaluate test adequacy
  • Advance the depth and breadth of our solution testing capabilities of functional and non[1]functional testing.
  • Elevate the skills of QA COE organization to drive a new level of quality and success
  • Provide senior management with statistical reports and quality standard issues.
  • Provide transparency using KPIs( customer focused , product and process)
  • Drive Quality gates as a release decision criteria


Job Requirements:

Minimum 15+ years of experience of quality assurance for large scale products and experience guiding quality assurance engineers and working with R&D leaders

Quality first mindset with a strong background and experience working with products for a global audience at scale.

Strong ability to drive changes at a large scale, proactive thinker.

Data analysis and statistical aptitude.

Excellent analytical thinking, Customer oriented mindset, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Ability to deploy new practices and tooling to keep current with the industry.

Strong understanding of processes and tooling for quality assurance, performance, security and reliability.

CI/CD automation experience and knowledge with Docker/K8s and cloud native products a plus. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
