ABOUT THE JOB

Software AG is seeking an experienced Support Engineer to help take our industry-leading ARIS business process modelling software to the next level. 

Join our team to help solving customer ARIS system issues. Work with the international team of experienced ARIS Support engineers and with R&D colleagues to find the best and fastest solutions for customer incidents.

  • Do you have a A Degree in Computer Science?
  • First experience with ARIS (technique or methods), Java, JVM, web techniques, databases or network protocols?
  • Enjoy problem solving and working with people?

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

Daily work in the Problem Management (Method and Technique). Reproducing errors and analyzing logs, databases etc. Working closely with the Incident Management who is the single point of contact to our customer.

 

ABOUT YOU

Academic Degree: BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent

Professional Experience:  3-5 years

Special Knowledge & IT Skills:

  • Deep ARIS Know How, regarding functionality, handling, error analysis, deep methodical or technical know-how:
  • Ability to analyze issues and to create workarounds for problems at the customer’s side.
  • Product Support experience over several years with customers, as well in difficult situations

Advantage is:

  • Project experience at customers side with ARIS
  • Experience with process optimizing

Additional:

  • MS Office
  • Basics of database knowledge
  • Java
  • Operation Systems Windows / Linux, Network structures
  • Second language in German, French or Spanish is a plus
