Helpdesk Technician

Software AG is looking for a Helpdesk Technician who will provide day-to-day support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. The Technician will also be responsible for installs, configure and troubleshooting desktop systems, work stations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Daily maintenance of corporate laptops and desktops
• Provide technical and organizational guidance to members on the Helpdesk Support Team
• Provide secondary level assistance to help desk related questions
• Maintain the user's system environment by working through related helpdesk tickets
• Maintain the standard user images and deploying new machines to the user community
• Daily operational duties assigned as needed

IT Skills:
• AS/BS Degree in Information Technology related field with 5 years of professional experience
• US Citizen
• Knowledge of Windows client and servers, Apple OS is a plus
• Sound knowledge of helpdesk operations, task-related skills and knowledge of operating systems
• Apple OS, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 experience
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage complexities and competing priorities
• Ability to combine judgment, experience, analytic skills and business knowledge to make sound decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
