Maintenance Sales Executive

ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Sales Executive to meet or exceed assigned customer contract maintenance renewal and customer retention goals. The ideal candidate will present Software AG's value proposition to ensure continuation of services, and maintain & update customer contact, contractual details, and all correspondence throughout the renewal process.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Send out all Maintenance Renewal quotes >= 90-days in advance of maintenance expiration and ensure timely contractual commitment for annual Maintenance & Support services
  • Engage in ongoing dialogue with Maintenance Renewal points of contact throughout the maintenance renewal process to ensure highest possible renewal rate % while keeping focus on proper account management
  • Escalate and coordinate issues as they arise to ensure timely resolution
  • Keep Software AG CRM system updated with current and accurate information

 

ABOUT YOU

Academic Degree:  A professional degree at the Bachelors level, desired

 

Professional Experience in year(s):  3

 

Special Knowledge:

  • Track, organize, and close a large number of pending renewal opportunities
  • Prioritize workload in order to meet all KPIs, goals and objectives
  • Maintain a professional dialogue and demeanor in challenging situations
  • Take initiative and use all available resources
  • Research and problem solving skills  
  • Strong customer orientation and dedication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Results-oriented with proven ability to follow through and bring issues to successful resolution

 

IT Skills:

  • Familiarity with using a CRM package to manage sales activity
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of tools, especially Microsoft Excel

 

Languages:  Fluent in verbal and written English, with excellent phone presence
