ABOUT THE JOB

The Sales Operations Analyst will report to the SVP Finance & Commercial for the Americas and will directly support the Sales Management Team for planning & analysis. The team will look to the Sales Operations Analyst to help establish and implement policies and procedures related to global sales processes and to analyze and report regular KPI and performance data. Responsibilities include data analysis, reporting, market research, competitive analysis, planning, and sales process optimization. Ideal candidates will have sales operations analysis experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Track and analyze key metrics –specifically related to pipeline growth/health but also to include partner reporting, sales performance analysis and other sales analysis as necessary.
  • Proactively analyzes trends in data to be presented to management through dashboards or other reports on a regular basis.
  • Compile key information related to performance against sales objectives to be reviewed by Management.
  • Proactively analyzes win-loss data and reports on key findings to sales leadership.
  • Develop presentations that analyze sales and marketing activities and achievements from Salesforce.com, InsightSquared and other applications used in the sales organization.
  • Reporting on sales campaigns (Blitz Days) and ad hoc strategic analysis.
  • Support sales development (inside sales) initiatives and data analysis.
  • Implements and manages reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com ensuring sales reps and leaders have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
  • Supports go-live of pipeline analysis tool (InsightSquared) and rollout to sales leadership and the field.
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and external intelligence essential to the sales organization.
  • Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • 3-plus years in a Business Analyst or similar role; management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing or related degree.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to perform Salesforce.com administrative functions is a plus.
  • Experience with InsightSquared or other pipeline analysis tool is a plus.
  • Excellent systems skills including Excel & PowerPoint are required.
