Senior Product Manager - Cumulocity IoT Product Experience (PX)





Software AG Cumulocity IoT is one of the world’s leading IoT platforms with deployments across the globe. The platform leverages the power of best in class device connectivity, streaming analytics, machine learning, edge computing, and integration. The IoT & Analytics team is looking for a hands-on Product Manager with strong technical aptitude and someone who approaches product management from a user’s vantage point and is motivated by the opportunity to delight customers.



As a PX Product Manager, your job is to improve the experience of users who build IoT Solutions, starting their journey in the Cumulocity cloud as a trial user. You will be responsible for the overall user experience of Cumulocity IoT, working with and leading a multi-disciplinary team.


You will lead the integration of tools and products like Gainsight that help measure and analyze how users are working with the product to improve the product experience and adjust roadmap priorities.


As PM leading Product Experience of the IoT portfolio, you will interface with customers, prospects, and partners to understand user needs and customer use cases. You will also identify and work closely with priority groups like operations, developers, and data scientists to ensure that their PX needs are fully incorporated into the product.


You will work with Product Marketing to communicate product positioning, key benefits, and be an evangelist for your product offering. This will include creating customer-facing collateral to support and highlight the product experience aspect of the Cumulocity offering.


You will be responsible for releases and delivery of related product features working closely with R&D, QA, and Program Management.





  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, HCI, or similar field and/or experience in user research and interaction design. 
  • 2+ years of work experience delivering SaaS applications required.
  • 2+ years of working with Agile development teams, including writing user stories, creating product backlogs, and prioritizing features.
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence Engineering and stakeholders towards a lean UX product strategy.
  • Attention to UX detail and be able to put yourself in the customers' shoes.
  • Passionate about team culture with a high emphasis on execution, delivery, and customer advocacy.
  • Experience with user research, information architecture design, and wireframing/prototyping product and experience flow ideas.
  • Experience with products like Pendo, Gainsight, etc. highly desirable.
