Product Manager - Product Experience - Cumulocity IoT

ABOUT THE JOB 

  

Software AG Cumulocity IoT is one of the world's leading IoT platforms with worldwide deployments. The platform leverages the power of best-in-class device connectivity, streaming analytics, machine learning, edge computing, and integration. The IoT & Analytics team is looking for a hands-on Product Manager with strong technical aptitude and someone who approaches product management from the user's vantage point and is motivated by the opportunity to delight customers. 

  

Responsibilities 

Your job will be to improve the users' product experience building IoT Solutions on the platform, starting their journey as a trial user on Cumulocity IoT cloud. You will be responsible for the overall customer experience working with and leading a multi-disciplinary team including UX designers, R&D, and Ops. 

  

You will lead the integration of tools and products like Gainsight that help measure and analyze how users interact with the platform. You will interface with customers, prospects, and partners to understand user needs and customer use cases. You will lead product analytics and market analysis to help make data-driven product decisions.  

  

You will also be responsible for releasing and delivering innovations and related enhancements, working jointly with R&D, QA, and Program Management. 

  

ABOUT YOU 

  

Requirements 

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering, or similar field and/or experience in user research and interaction design. MBA or related degree desirable. 
  • Prior experience with making data-driven product decisions using Gainsight, Pendo, or Google Analytics to help measure and improve the product based on product usage. 
  • 2+ years of work experience delivering SaaS applications required. B2C experience desirable. 
  • Prior experience in IoT or related domain desirable. 
  • 2+ years of working with Agile development teams, including writing user stories, creating product backlogs, and prioritizing features. 
  • Understanding of legal, privacy, and GDPR requirements as it relates to user data. 
  • Passionate about team culture with a high emphasis on execution, delivery, and customer advocacy. 
  • Experience with user research, information architecture design, and product discovery techniques. 

 

Additional Requirements 

  • Working in a geographically distributed multi-cultural team. 
  • Able to build consensus across a range of stakeholders. 
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task, change priorities rapidly, and work under pressure. 
  • Domestic and International travel required.
