Team Lead Network (Cisco)

Responsibilites

  • Manage network access with Cisco components
  • Manage the design and development of our network area based on newest state-of-the-art Cisco technologies
  • Implement new technologies, syncing with the other network security area based on PaloAlto technologies
  • Partner with the Network Team Leader to develop strategies and roadmaps
  • Plan and maintain network area budget
  • Manage the operation of the worldwide network with your team doing troubleshooting, developing on-call duty model, and providing first class user support for internal customers
  • Challenge new user requirements in regards of security and make proposals to strive for a standardization within our enterprise
  • Research and implement best practices of working with the other network security area and IT teams that involve network interface
  • Ensure a high level of network segmentation, developing ways for fast patch management and integrating network access and firewalling technologies and obeying security principles for on-prem as well as in the cloud

Requirements

  • You have at least bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 5+ years’ experience in the networking area
  • You are an experienced and mindful leader, able to motivate your team and building a high-performance culture
  • You know many of the newest Cisco state of the art technologies (ISE, ACI, DNA, trustsec, …) very well and even operated some on your own Certifications like CCNP, CCIE or similar is a big plus
  • You also have basic knowledge in PaloAlto technologies to be able to integrate your network area
  • You strive for personal development not only in your professional network area but also in leadership skills
  • Ability to speak in German is a plus
  • You have good project management skills and are experienced in steering external contractors
