As the Technical Director for Partner Solutions within the Global Alliances and Channels business unit, you will be responsible for designing, delivering and optimizing Partner Pre-sales capability across various GA&C partner segments; including but not limited to global hyperscalers, OEM/ISVs and systems integrators.


You will be expected to build strong alliances with the Pre-sales leaders in our strategic partner organizations. Likewise, you will also be expected to build internal alliances with Software AG’s various regional and specialty pre-sales organizations. Through these internal and external alliances, you will execute support of partner capacity development and sales opportunity development.

The newly formed Channel Innovation Office in the GA&C business unit seeks to deliver Partner Success and Partner Pre-sales capability to Software AG. Our key contributions to our strategic objectives and overall growth strategy is to:


  1. Increase “net new” sales opportunities for joint incremental revenue
  2. Direct support for strategic partnership GTM initiatives
  3. Improve lead to deal closure timeliness & predictability
  4. Strengthen partner competency and competitiveness on SAG solutions
  5. Remove bottlenecks & ensure frictionless partner interaction

We have several organizational and operational support structures at our disposal through other teams and departments. However, many activities that may be required to fulfill your duties may need to be designed and orchestrated by you. To succeed, you will require a keen eye for spotting a gap and formulating an action plan to fill it. You will need to demonstrate the technical leadership required to make things happen.
