Software AG Cloud is an open and independent cloud platform and your one-stop shop for all Software AG Cloud service offerings. We the Cloud Service Operations department operate and deploy these offerings in a secure and reliable manner to contribute to our purpose "We connect people and technology for a smarter tomorrow". We are a diverse and worldwide distributed team of engineers that are working agile with R&D and the Global Support organizations to continuously improve our services.

 

 

WE, THE CLOUD OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR ARIS, ARE LOOKING FOR YOU

 

  • Provide professional, courteous and prompt support to customers and internal staff with the goal to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the close collaboration with Development Teams, Cloud Security, Compliance and Certifications, Sales, Global Support Organization and Product Management, to strengthen cloud offerings
  • Support security and compliance requirements of the Software AG Cloud Platforms
  • Manage product assets 
  • Raise awareness of the processes and improve the process quality
  • Take care of operational risks
  • Manage incidents & escalations
  • Implement changes on a daily base
  • Work with services and products of Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure

 

 

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

 

  • Familiar with cloud IaaS vendors such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS Unix/Linux experience
  • Hands-on experience with container solutions like Kubernetes
  • Understanding of interfaces between Research&Development, Support and Cloud Operations teams.
  • Familiar with operational Task and Incident Management systems (ideally Atlassian Jira)
  • Completed study in computer science or a similar field or a proven professional background with 3 years of professional experience

 

Preferable:

  • Single-Sign-on, Active Directory, Database management experience
  • ARIS Installation, administration and configuration knowledge
  • Experience with Git and GitOps approach
  • Familiar with Kanban Process Model
  • Skills in Java scripting and web development
