The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for managing relationships with and selling Software AG’s entire solutions portfolio into her/his region. The Enterprise Account Executive acts as a strategic advisor for his/her customer. She/he uses consultative and value based selling techniques, interacting with C level people within her/his account. The Enterprise Account Executive effectively coordinates activities in her/his account by engaging with other Software AG Sales Specialists, Sales Engineers, Inside Sales, Consultants to successfully generate qualified opportunities, win new business, and build a long-term strategic partnership with her/his customer.

Software AG offers both software and services solutions for:
Business & IT transformation, Cloud and hybrid integration, API Management, B2B, IPaaS, Data and Analytics and Internet of Things Connectivity and Solutions.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • The Enterprise Account Executive is part of a virtual sales team along with other Software AG lines of business and is responsible for selling the entire Software AG solutions portfolio in her/his territory.
  • Achieve/exceed quarterly and yearly revenue targets using approved SAG business planning, account management, opportunity management, and monitoring processes tools
  • Drive and penetrate new accounts and meet with stakeholders (C level) within accounts selling collaboration solutions
  • Accurately forecast and report on opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Build key management relationships with focus on new opportunities, customer success and satisfaction, resulting in referenceable accounts and positive brand/company awareness
  • Teach customers insights and tailor solutions to challenge their approach to key corporate priorities and create a value proposition

Professional Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience selling with middleware technologies, cloud architecture, integration platforms, and IoT
  • Prior experience selling software-based solutions, specifically into targeted new name accounts with deal sizes that range from $50K - $1M
  • Excellent prospecting skills using multiple tools and methods to effectively prospect across many account
  • Experience developing and presenting clear and concise sales briefings/meetings
  • Ability to understand customers’ business, needs, challenges and expectations
  • Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding a $1.1 M quota and have achieved premium sales "club" recognition
