Senior Consultant (West Region)

This Position Can Be Located Anywhere in the US



Delivers consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final invoicing through medium - to long-term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.

Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. Viewed by customers as a consultant and is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide application of technical/ functional skills to assist our customers and partners to create and implement successful and innovative solutions that run, manage and optimize key business processes while decreasing costs and inefficiencies.
  • Provide direction for application development exercises of average complexity and team lead to other consultants at client site.
  • Support the team in realizing large projects and/or lead small projects including all typical consulting and project management tasks
  • Evaluating customer's processes and developing methodologies.



  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or a related field
  • Professional Experience in year(s): 5
  • You can travel 75% - 100%


Special Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 5 years directly related work experience
  • Industry Fortune 500 experience a plus.
  • WebMethods (EAI and B2B) solution implementation in medium to large scale engagements
  • WebMethods administration in large scale engagements
  • RDBMS (any Oracle, Informix, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase)
  • Proficiency in SQL programming
  • Java/ C++ Object oriented programming
  • Exposure to Enterprise Architecture concepts
  • Aptitude to learn new technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Unix / Shell scripting
  • EAI Middleware or other integration experience
  • Web application dev


IT Skills:

  • E-Commerce (Broadvision, ATG, B2B or other)
  • eStandards such as RosettaNet , EDI , HIPAA etc
  • MRO Procurement, Supply Chain or logistics
  • webMethods or Software AG Products, Tibco, SeeBeyond, Vitria a plus!
  • Proficiency in relational databases (Oracle or MSSQL Server- preferred) and Database management
  • Proficiency in XML languages and structure
  • Proficiency in HTML Language and structure
  • Experience using business intelligence or relate Software AG


  • English
  • Second languages a plus!
