Account Executive

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

The Account Executive will sell into new and current customers, utilizing a consultative sales approach and the Software AG portfolio of software and services. He/she must be an expert in a variety of technology and business oriented value propositions, consultative sales approach and able to align Software AG resources to close new business and ensure success of each implementation. The Account Executive will be selling multimillion dollar solutions to large enterprises.

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the business driver and establish a solid relationship with stakeholders (C-level), selling large-scale solutions.
  • Target new opportunities and new customers into the designated territory composed by named accounts to bring customer success and satisfaction.
  • Work with upper level management within the company to establish direct and indirect sales, a strategic sales plan, and additional market development within target customers.
  • Enhanced business solution and selling.
  • Solid negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work aligned with CSM, Alliances, and Professional Services areas, and others within the company to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize and keep CRM System updated and provide timely feedback on requested reports.
  • Meets monthly and quarterly revenue and bookings commitments.
  • Hunter mentality, organized and strategic planning oriented.

 

ACADEMIC DEGREE:

Minimum: College degree

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

 

Successful proven track records in quota overachievement selling IT Enterprise software and services solutions to the main industry verticals: Financial Services (Banks, Insurance, Services), CME, Retail, Manufacturing, Utilities, among others.

 

IT SKILLS:

MS Office

Salesforce or similar

 

LANGUAGES:

Fluency in English

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Excellent interaction with internal/external customers
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Experience developing and presenting clear and concise sales briefings / meetings
  • Ability to understand customers' business needs, challenges and expectations
  • Target and success oriented.
  • Travel required (always according to applicable health and safety protocols).
