About the position:   

 

Provide quality operational & strategic support for the Human Resources area.  Viewed as a strategic partner to the business, able to address different HR matters – processes, policies, systems, payroll, employee relations, labor law compliance - with confidence and autonomy, through her/his solid operational knowledge.

                        

Essential Job Functions:  

 

  • Employee onboarding, including company and position information, coordination on start details, collect and process new hire paperwork
  • Evaluate, investigate and resolve employee relations and work-related matters, aligned with the HR Director and people managers to determine appropriate actions and follow-through
  • Prepare and review payroll information and related reports (partnering with external payroll consultants and the Finance dept), ensuring that the whole payroll cycle has been properly completed
  • Coach and advise managers on people matters, potential performance risks and decisions in alignment with business objectives and legislation
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures
  • Liaise with Legal department to effectively resolve labor issues.
  • Support HR management in the continuous effort to simplify processes and increase the area's efficiency
  • Provide advice to employees about company rules and procedures, labor laws and need for compliance
  • Manage languages and other courses, interacting with employees, managers and language schools, ensuring that company´s guidelines are being followed.
  • Manage monthly updates and/or benefit requests.
  • Support to recruitment processes. 
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, as well as cross-functional task teams and working groups abroad
  • Process employee transactions in our HRIS, ensuring data integrity
  • Create and maintain HR Ops purchase orders, handle Invoice reconciliation, and support global sourcing actions as required
  • Handle employee exits from necessary documentation and offboarding coordination to exit interviews and feedback
  • Maintain HR records and prepares compliance reports for internal and external audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

About you:

 

Experience:

 

  • Solid knowledge of labor laws
  • Strong background in payroll preparation and review is essential
  • HRIS experience (Workday and/or SAP)
  • 5 plus years of experience as a HR generalist in multinational companies

  • Excellent oral and written communication. Able to interact with all levels in the organization

  • Able to Coach employees and managers in employment relations matters
  • Shows personal commitment, and is a strong team player

Language:

 

  • Fluent English is mandatory

 

Education:

  • Bachelor´s Degree
  • MBA or equivalent desirable
