Partner Sales Manager



This position is available in Shenzhen.




As the Partner Manager for South China, you are accountable to develop the partner ecosystem and grow the channel revenue business in Mainland China, with primary focus on Southern areas. The Partner Manager is an integral part of the sales team in China with the purpose of incrementing our Go-To-Market through partnerships that: (1) cover industries and/or customer segments that not targeted by the direct sales team; (2) have the ability to develop repetitive Go-To-Market offerings by leveraging our solution capabilities through ISV/OEM programs; (3) augment our service capabilities.


The Partner Manager will be versatile and cover:

  • The definition overall partner business plans outlining
    • Role & responsibilities per partner type
    • Targets (revenue, new customer acquisition, etc.)
    • Enablement requirements (both sales & technical)
    • Marketing (social media, events, campaigns)
  • Execution of partner plans especially with focus on areas where Software AG does not cover with direct sales team
  • The performance measurement and continuous follow through and follow-up of plans to achieve goals
  • Manages existing partner relationships and excel their performance
  • Recruit new partners (priority on channel and ISV/OEM partners) to contribute to our top line with the aim to run self-sufficiently sales
  • The Partner Manager owns the execution of sales for non-assigned (whitespace) customer accounts through the partners. For assigned customer accounts, Direct Sale is in the lead even if a partner is involved.




  • 10+ years experience in partners/channel management
  • Bachelor degree or above in any discipline
  • Experience in Software Space and Value Selling
  • Proficiency in MS Applications
  • Fluent both oral and written in English, Mandarin, Cantonese
