Identity Access Management Expert



This Position is available in Sofia



  • Introduce a new Identity and Access Management (IAM) system at Software AG, including implementation of access rights and requests in the system, workflow and review of all project documentation, maintenance of technical documents and business requirements
  • Act as responsible central point of IAM contact within Software AG
  • Develop and maintain IAM guidelines/standards and improve current documentation for new and existing technologies. These activities also include the optimization of identity governance, i.e., administration of user identities, authorizations, and security
  • Establish predefined approval processes and workflows for access requests to network resources, physical assets, groups and distribution lists
  • Provide expert knowledge and act as a subject matter expert on key IAM principles with in-depth knowledge of authentication and authorization systems, identity lifecycle management and identity governance
  • Ensure access is appropriately handled whenever identity lifecycle events occur. This includes the development of standard onboarding and off-boarding processes for employees and contractors
  • Plan and create access reviews for our cloud environments, ensuring that compliance requirements are met and end-user friction is mitigated. This includes the planning of access rights according to defined roles, rules and policies/compliance requirements
  • Be a key part of project teams, collaborate with business partners, vendor/consulting organizations and peer-level professionals from other IT disciplines



  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions and experience managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
  • Working knowledge in designing, engineering, and managing IGA SaaS solutions
  • Extensive IAM know-how including experience with products like ForgeRock or Okta
  • Solid business acumen; understand how IAM supports business objectives
  • Extensive professional knowledge of IAM principles and concepts
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly request, problem, incident and change management, and how they interrelate and can be adopted successfully
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Good command of spoken and written the English language is a must, and German is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong communication skills
