The IoT & Analytics team is looking for a hands-on Product Manager with strong technical aptitude and someone who approaches product management from the user's vantage point and is motivated by the opportunity to delight customers.

In this key role you will contribute to developing Software AG’s IoT vision, strategy, and go-to-market, being part of a larger IoT Product Management Team. The Product Management Team is a small team, distributed across Bulgaria, Germany, UK & the US. It is part of the ~400 people IoT & Analytics Business Unit of Software AG.




We are on the lookout for an experienced Product Manager* to lead our IoT Application Enablement Platform offering ( including the Web SDK ( as well as our Solution Accelerators for Water ( & Building Management (

As Product Manager* you will be responsible for setting the long-term vision as well as the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, defining the product roadmap, and working closely with engineering, pre-sales, sales, marketing, and support to ensure product goals are met.




  • You have substantial experience delivering highly successful and innovative software products
  • You have broad technical breadth and are passionate about IoT technologies and cloud computing
  • You bring excellent presentation and written communication skills and can build consensus across a range of stakeholders
  • You care deeply about team culture with a high emphasis on execution, delivery, and customer advocacy
  • You are experienced interacting with customers and users and are passionate about representing the voice of the customer
  • You know how to derive insights from data as well as user, customer and internal stakeholder feedback
  • You are experienced working with Agile development teams, including writing user stories, creating product backlogs, and prioritizing features
  • You have practical experience in the software industry as well as knowledge about the industries of our key customers (e. g. previous work experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, industrial automation or comparable)
  • You are experienced with cloud and SaaS business models
  • You are willing to travel internationally
  • You can multi-task, change priorities rapidly, and work under pressure
