Service System Engineer /IoT


This position is available in Sofia.



  • Maintain and monitor customer environments in the area of our product stack Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Plan and apply fixes, patches and upgrades
  • Manage customer's environments for stability, security, and satisfaction for optimal customer experience
  • Willingness for 24/7 on-call duty (up to 5 times monthly on working days and up to 1 time monthly on weekend days)
  • Execute 2nd level technical support tasks
  • Manage and operate environments of our global customers with industry leading targets in aspects of availability and quality
  • Understand the existing software solution; propose, develop and implement potential improvements
  • Keep customers informed, set and follow up on commitments, keep precise case documentation and case ownership
  • Develop working knowledge of supported products and technologies as well as applicable technical support debugging tools
  • Potential to grow within the team and role



  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong Linux administration skills
  • Strong monitoring skills (ICINGA, KIBANA, ElasticSearch, Nagios Remote Plugin Executor (NRPE), OpsGenie, MetricBeat, FileBeat)
  • Experience with MS Azure
  • Hands-on experience with container solution like Kubernetes
  • Configuration management tools (Chef)
  • University Degree in Computer Science or related
  • Very good English
  • Experience with MongoDB


Skills, considered as a plus:

  • German language
  • Experience with QA Automation tools
  • Experience with monitoring systems: Kibana, Nagios
  • Networking knowledge: Load Balancing, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, SSL
  • Experience with a relevant CI and CD tooling (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Ansible
  • Scripting skills - Ruby (for Chef) is preferable
