We are looking for a Product Designer to join our global and diverse team to create impactful change!

 

As part of our team at Software AG Leipzig subsidiary, itCampus GmbH, you will work with leaders and peers across product management, engineering, and other business functions to understand the various use cases and make meaningful design contributions to our growing design system.

 

What you will do:

  • Participate in the complete design process right from user research, concept creation, interaction design, to visual design
  • Create foundational patterns, UI components, tools, and documentation that empowers our design vision
  • Facilitate design thinking workshops with key stakeholders to envision a new user experience.
  • Bring this vision to life through storyboards, wireframes and high-fidelity designs
  • Review current systems based on heuristics and recommend areas for redesign and ways to tackle UX challenges creatively
  • Participate in creating a visual design system for future designs and consistently implement a seamless world-class experience
  • Demonstrate the capability of the new design with clickthrough prototypes, when necessary

 

About you:

  • You are an articulate and curious designer who loves all things design, wants to push the boundaries of technology and user experience, and is ready to take a project and run with it
  • You can grasp the essence of complex design problems, user problems, research findings, and translate them into practical design solutions
  • You think in a holistic way and consider how the design will scale in the future and across platforms
  • You have strong interaction design and visual design skills – ideally, a combination of both
  • You are comfortable with Figma’s design tool and have working knowledge of other contemporary design and prototyping tools, such as Adobe CC or Sketch

 

Your qualification:

  • A degree in Design, HCI, Visual design, or other related fields
  • 3+ years of design industry experience
  • Passion objects in the portfolio with examples of dedicated problem-solving
  • Experience contributing to mature design systems including component design, documentation, and education
